Dog Groomer
Bark & Bone Zürich or Samstagern
We are currently looking for two groomers to join our team — one for our grooming salon in Zürich and one in Samstagern.
Depending on your experience, you may join as a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 groomer.

The Bark & Bone Groomer
A Bark & Bone groomer is someone who takes pride in their craft.
Someone who works calmly and confidently with dogs, understands that every dog is different, and adjusts their approach accordingly.
Someone who enjoys the details — a clean finish, a well-shaped face, a dog that leaves feeling comfortable and relaxed.
But the role is not only about grooming dogs.
Our groomers also build relationships with the people behind the dogs. They take the time to understand what owners need, explain grooming decisions, and guide them when it comes to coat care and maintenance.
We are looking for someone who combines technical skill with empathy — for the dogs and for the owners who trust us with them.

The Dogs You’ll Work With
Our grooming clients are a mix of small and large dogs, different breeds and coat types.
Many of them come regularly and some are also part of our daycare or training programs, which means you often get to know the dogs well over time.
We prioritise quality grooming and respectful handling over rushing through as many dogs as possible.

The Grooming Environment
Our salons are designed to be calm, organised and pleasant spaces to work in.
We continuously invest in improving the grooming environment because we believe the space you work in matters.
You’ll also work alongside a team that includes daycare professionals, trainers and other groomers, creating an environment where everyone shares the same goal: taking great care of the dogs.

Details
Location: Bark & Bone Zürich or Samstagern
Schedule: starting around 40–50%, with the opportunity to grow over time
Salary: between CHF 4'700 and CHF 5'700 depending on experience, plus bonus systems
Formal grooming education is welcome, but self-taught groomers with strong skills and examples of their work are also encouraged to apply.
