Mandatory for all first-time dog owners in Canton Zurich (from June 2025).
Even if you’ve had dogs before, this course will sharpen your perspective, refresh your confidence, and deepen your bond.

Mandatory 6 practical lessons

For dogs >6 months old
Our 6-lesson course teaches essential everyday skills such as recall, loose-leash walking, sit, down, stay, and calm behavior around distractions - taught in small, supportive groups.
✅ Includes practical assessment (exam) and certificate recognized in Canton Zurich
👥 One additional member from the same family may join free of charge.

Hands-on training that teaches your dog to:
• Walk calmly on a loose leash
• Come when called – even with distractions
• Sit, Down & Stay reliably
• Leave and let go of objects calmly
• Stay focused and connected in everyday life
• Behave calmly and confidently in public spaces📍 Taught in very small, supportive groups (3–4 dogs) using modern, force-free methods.

• All dog owners — regardless of breed or size — who get a dog or move with the dog to Canton Zurich on or after June 1, 2025
The course can be attended from the age of 6 months at the earliest and should be completed no later than one year after getting the dog.
🐶 Of course, all other dogs are welcome too - even if it’s not mandatory. These lessons are a great foundation for any dog — no matter the age or background.
Upon completion you will receive a certificate.

Puppy Socialization Group Lesson
